When we have an updated credit report on file, we know the progress on each questionable item on your credit report. As time passes, each disputed item will be updated as with your case file and this is updated with each of the three credit reporting bureaus. In order for us to do our job most effectively, we need copies of your current credit reports as they are updated.
A good example to illustrate the importance of this is when we dispute in negative item and it shows up again on a credit report at a different time. If we know about it, we can approach the redundancy in a certain manner that will speed up the resolution. However, without current copies of your credit report, we are slightly limited in what we can do to advance your case because we don’t know the status of previously disputed negative credit report items before approaching the next round of negative credit report disputes.
You will be sent your credit report by each of the three credit reporting bureaus on a regular basis of items that are disputed are either removed or updated .
